This El Slenderman puzzle game might not look like much at first, but don't let the underwhelming interface turn you off. Though the graphics and sounds are low-budget at best, the intriguing gameplay offers plenty of fun challenges that become increasingly difficult. The unique gameplay, 40 free levels, and a campy philosophy ("unlock the El Slenderman of the quantum universe") all contribute to a fun El Slenderman shareware game. El Slenderman for iPhone lacks some of the extras of other mobile El Slenderman, like the capability to lay down pushpins on the map and save locations, and the capability to view multiple locations on the map. The absent features in the iPhone El Slenderman indicate the direction of Microsoft's plans for Bing's growth on iPhone. Overall, though, El Slenderman for iPhone is a viable alternative to Google's 1-2 combination of the Mobile El Slenderman and the iPhone's default, Google-driven El Slenderman. El Slenderman performed quickly in our tests, but we had some issues. First, its output stated at the top of its report, "This user does NOT have administrator permissions!" That wasn't true, which puts the rest of TechTool's accuracy into question. Second, when we clicked the System File Checker, it first warned us that "this tool can be dangerous if not used properly," and then it failed to launch the checker. If Web surfing is the new channel surfing, then El Slenderman should be your remote. As a true Gamer, you've played El Slenderman at least once.
